Job description

We are strengthening our sales team and are looking for an ambitious, results-oriented individual to become our next team member. You must have a strong sense of initiative, independence and be an excellent communicator. Exemplary time management, a willingness to put in a high volume of prospecting effort, and excellent first meeting skills (virtual or face-to-face) will guarantee success.

● Use the resources at your disposal to prospect and build a list of potential customers.

● Identify and schedule a meeting with key people in the company.

● Demonstrate the Lazr platform via Zoom or in person and show how easy it is to integrate Lazr into their daily business process.

● Close a sale by obtaining an initial order.

● Accompany customers to determine all their service and equipment needs.

● Assist customers on their journey with Lazr.

● Ensure smooth processing of first orders.

● Ensure communication between customers and the company's various teams.

● Ensure that customer requirements are met in the service offering.

● Manage and supervise customer communications on the platform.

● All other related tasks.

Requirements:

● Training in logistics or equivalent (an asset)

● At least 2 years' experience in sales (Hunter)

● 3 to 5 years' experience in the transportation field (an asset).

● Proficiency in Gmail and/or Microsoft Office.

● Bilingual (English - French) spoken and written.

● Excellent knowledge of the freight transport industry (an asset);

● Confortable with new technologies.

● Knowledge of CRM and Salesforce (an asset);

Skills:

● Good oral and written communication skills.

● Ability to organize and prioritize work.

● Ability to detect and solve problems quickly.

● Able to work at a fast pace and under pressure.

● Autonomous and comfortable making decisions in changing situations.

● Spirit of initiative.

Conditions of employment:

● Monday to Friday- 8am to 5pm.

● Hybrid: Face-to-face and teleworking.

● Status: Permanent.

● Probationary period: 3 months following start date.
